🏀 Kyle Collinsworth

Bio:

Kyle Collinsworth is one of the most accomplished and versatile players in BYU and NCAA history, famously known as “Mr. Triple-Double” for holding the NCAA all-time record with 12 career triple-doubles. A standout at Provo High School, he was the No. 1 player in Utah and a Top 100 national recruit, leading his team to multiple state championships while earning Utah Gatorade Player of the Year, Deseret News Mr. Basketball, and Salt Lake Tribune Male Athlete of the Year honors. He was also a three-time First-Team All-State selection, averaging 23.7 points, 10.8 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 4.0 steals per game as a senior.

At BYU, Kyle built one of the most unique and historic careers in college basketball. He finished his career as the program’s all-time leader in assists and rebounds, while ranking second all-time in steals. He earned WCC Player of the Year (2016), 3× First-Team All-WCC (2014, 2015, 2016), and was a 2× AP Honorable Mention All-American. He was also a Bob Cousy Award Finalist (Top 10 point guard in the nation) and earned Lute Olson All-America Team honors.

Kyle’s ability to impact every aspect of the game—scoring, rebounding, passing, and defending—made him one of the most complete players in the country. Following his college career, he went on to play in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks, proving his ability to compete at the highest level.

Now, as the founder of Defensive Love, Kyle continues to train within the system—applying the same principles that defined his career to stay in elite shape and maintain a defensive-first mindset.

🏀 Dean Rueckert

📍 Guard/Forward | 6’8” | Timpview High School (UT) | BYU Signee

Bio:

Dean Rueckert is a 6’8” guard/forward out of Timpview High School and a BYU signee, ranked among the top players in the country. A four-star prospect, Dean is ranked No. 62 in the ESPN Top 100 (SCNext 100), No. 61 overall (247Sports Composite), and No. 77 (247Sports), while also being ranked the No. 31 small forward nationally and No. 4 overall player in Utah.

During his senior season (2025–2026), Dean averaged 20.5 points per game, leading 5A Region 7 in scoring, while consistently delivering elite performances including a career-high 34 points and multiple 20+ point games. He also averaged 1.5 steals per game, showcasing his defensive instincts and ability to impact the game on both ends.

What separates Dean is his rare combination of size and skill—an elite three-point shooter at 6’8”, capable of stretching the floor while also rebounding, defending multiple positions, and making high-level plays. His versatility and production made him one of the most sought-after recruits in the country, ultimately choosing BYU over Utah, Stanford, Clemson, and Washington.

With his ability to score, shoot, and defend at a high level, Dean has established himself as one of the premier players in the 2026 class and a complete two-way player built for the next level.

Bio:

Yoeli Childs is one of the most decorated players in BYU basketball history and a proven professional competing internationally. A former 4-star recruit and Top 100 national prospect out of Bingham High School, he led his team to a 5A State Championship while earning State MVP honors and First-Team All-State recognition.

At BYU, Yoeli became one of the most dominant players in program history—earning 3× First-Team All-WCC honors, NABC All-District First Team (3×), USBWA All-District (3×), and Mid-Major All-American First Team honors. He was also a Karl Malone Award Finalist (top power forward in the nation) and Senior CLASS Award Finalist. Statistically, he etched his name in history as the ONLY player in BYU history with 2,000+ points and 1,000+ rebounds, while becoming the program’s all-time leading rebounder.

Professionally, Yoeli has competed at the highest level—earning opportunities with the Los Angeles Lakers Summer League, signing with the Washington Wizards, and playing in the NBA G-League. He has built a strong international career playing in Germany and currently competes in Japan’s top league, continuing to showcase his physicality, consistency, and impact on winning. He trains with Defensive Love every offseason to prepare for his season and stay in elite game shape.

🏀 Jake Wahlin

📍 Guard | Timpview High School (UT) Utah | Clemson | BYU

Bio:

Jake Wahlin is a high-level guard out of Timpview High School who developed into one of the top players in Utah before continuing his career at the Division I level with Utah and now Clemson. A consensus three-star recruit and one of the top prospects in the state, Jake was ranked the No. 2 overall player in Utah and a Top-150 national recruit.

At Timpview, Jake was a four-year letter winner who helped lead the program to a 75–29 overall record, including two regional championships and an undefeated 12–0 region season as a senior. Individually, he earned 5A First-Team All-State honors (2020–21), 5A Second-Team All-State (2019–20), and was a McDonald’s All-American Game nominee. He was also invited to the West Coast Elite Top-100 Camp, further establishing himself as one of the top guards in the region.

At the college level, Jake began his career at the University of Utah, where he appeared in 33 games with 23 starts, recording key performances including his first collegiate double-double (10 points, 12 rebounds vs. Kansas). Known for his defensive activity and versatility, he also recorded a career-high 6 steals and 4 blocks in a single game. He shot 35.1% from three-point range during his sophomore season.

Now competing at Clemson in the ACC, Jake continues to develop as a versatile guard who brings toughness, energy, and two-way impact at the highest level. He trains with Defensive Love to stay in elite defensive shape and prepare for each season. He will finish his Senior season at BYU

🏀 Hunter Hansen

📍 Guard | Fremont High School (UT) | Weber State

Bio:

Hunter Hansen is a high-level scoring guard out of Fremont High School who established himself as one of the most productive offensive players in school history. Over his varsity career, he totaled 1,339 career points, along with 363 rebounds and 105 three-pointers, cementing his legacy as one of Fremont’s top scorers.

During his senior season, Hunter averaged 21.2 points per game, ranking among the top scorers in the state of Utah while consistently delivering high-level performances, including a career-high 32-point game. His ability to score at all three levels and stretch the floor made him a constant offensive threat.

Hunter earned two-time All-State honors, recognizing his impact and consistency as one of the top players in the state. His production and development led to a Division I opportunity, initially committing to Utah State before ultimately signing with Weber State following his LDS mission, where he will continue his career at the next level.

🏀 Chase Degraffenried

📍 Guard | Salem Hills High School (UT) | Green River College | Southern Utah University Commit


Bio:

Chase Degraffenried is a high-level scoring guard who built a reputation as one of the top offensive players in Utah during his time at Salem Hills High School. He finished his high school career as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,435 career points, showcasing his ability to consistently produce at a high level.

During his senior season (2023–2024), Chase averaged 25.8 points per game, ranking No. 3 in the state in scoring, while leading his team offensively and delivering elite performances throughout the season. He also knocked down 69 three-pointers, tying the school record for most in a single season, while adding 3.1 assists per game, showing his ability to create for others.

Following high school, Chase continued his career at Green River College, where he developed into one of the top junior college scorers in the NWAC (Northwest Athletic Conference). During his sophomore season (2025–2026), he averaged 20.7 points per game, ranking as the third-leading scorer in the conference, proving his ability to translate his game to the college level.

His production and continued development earned him a Division I opportunity at Southern Utah University (SUU), where he will take the next step in his career. With his ability to score at all three levels and consistently produce, Chase has established himself as a proven offensive weapon who continues to climb levels.
